VERVA - premium
Characteristic
The VERVA line of the latest generation fuels has been formulated with the improvement of engine performance under various weather conditions and at variable loads in mind. The higher content of a washing agent helps maintain cleanliness of the fuel feed system and remove previously built-up sediments, formed by fuels of unknown origin.
VERVA Premium fuels are produced from carefully selected components whose quality is continuously monitored at each stage of the production process at PKN’s modern and technologically advanced refinery in Płock.
VERVA 98 meets the rigorous EU requirements set for the fuels in the so-called "sulphur-free" group, with the sulphur content below 10 mg/kg; the standards are to be in effect starting in 2009.
•The high quality of the VERVA 98 fuel and the use of carefully selected upgrading additives help reduce fuel consumption and improve the engine performance.
•VERVA 98 has a beneficial influence on the engine's lifetime, increasing mechanical durability of its components (cylinders, pistons, rings and valves).
•The higher content of a cleaning agent improves the VERVA 98 petrol washing properties thus helping maintain cleanliness of the vehicle's fuel feed system and engine.
•The reduced sulphur content (10 mg/kg) in the VERVA 98 petrol extends the useful lifetime of the exhaust gases catalyst, reduces corrosion in the fuel feed, combustion and exhaust systems, and lowers emissions of sulphur compounds.
The effectiveness of the fuel washing properties of the VERVA petrol was evaluated using the Mercedes Benz 102E engine method. Obtained results: for Category 4 fuels, the highest category in the World Fuels Card, the upper limit of sediments is 30 mg; for the VERVA petrol the amount was below 5 mg.
Upgrading additives used in VERVA 98 fuel:
•Cleaning additives – ensure maintaining cleanliness of the fuel feed and injection systems, remove sediments previously formed by fuels of unknown origin.
•Anti-corrosion additives – protect the engine by reducing the corrosive properties of the air in the fuel feed, combustion and exhaust systems.
•Antioxidants – prevent fuel degradation and ensure its high stability in storage.
